Kauri Dieback

Our challenge today was to use the links provided and our own smart searching skills to find out what Kauri dieback is and what we need to do to try and prevent this from spreading. We need to know about this so that we do our part to keep our Kauri safe when we go on hike at camp.
I worked with a classmate named Fern and we found it interesting that There are only approximately 40,000 kauri trees in the world.

Ariel and Belle’s Enchanted Adventure

Once upon a time, there was a mermaid named Ariel who lived in the ocean. One day, she swam to the edge of the water and found a magical forest. In that forest, she met a girl named Belle. Belle was special because she loved to read and think about adventures. They became friends and decided to explore the forest together. They laughed, shared stories, and discovered exciting things, creating their own wonderful adventure.

As they wandered deeper into the magical forest, Ariel spotted a shimmering pond. Curious, she leaned over to look and saw colourful fish and sparkling stones dancing under the water. Belle suggested they take off their shoes and wade in. Once in the water, they giggled as the cool depths tickled their feet. Suddenly, they found a hidden treasure chest half-buried in the sand. It was very dusty and old with two chains on it with faint stains. Together, they opened it, revealing glittering jewels and ancient maps that promised even more adventures ahead.

Excited by their discovery, Ariel and Belle decided to examine the maps closely. One map showed a path leading to a mystical waterfall hidden deep in the forest, rumoured to grant magical wishes. With their hearts racing, they followed the directions, taking turns leading the way. As they hiked, they encountered singing birds and playful woodland creatures, all while sharing their dreams and aspirations. Finally, they reached the majestic waterfall, where the shimmering water cascaded down like silver threads. They each made a wish, splashing their hands in the cool water, feeling the magic of the forest surround them.

As they wished, they felt a slight tingle in their stomachs. Suddenly, they dropped to the ground and couldn’t move, getting pushed toward the ocean. Ariel, being a mermaid, wasn’t hurt by the water, but time was ticking. Belle was in trouble, and the urgency was real—she was drowning and needed help quickly. Luckily, Ariel sprang to the rescue and saved her friend. After the rescue, they realised how much they valued their friendship, and the adventure taught them the importance of staying close to those who matter.

And they lived happily ever after. The End.  By Roman And Pupyrus.com
